Common Questions

Everything you need to know.

Find answers about the program, commitment, and what to expect.

For Participants

Who is GoLead for?
GoLead is designed for ordinary church-going young adults in Asian cities — particularly those with little or no exposure to missions. You don't need to be a seminary student or feel "called to missions" already. If you're a believer who wants to grow in discipleship and discover your role in God's global mission, GoLead is for you.
What is the time commitment?
The program runs for 10 months in a hybrid format. Expect monthly onsite weekend intensives, regular Zoom teaching sessions, and personal practicums between sessions. The program is designed to fit alongside your work and ministry commitments.
Do I need missions experience?
No — that's exactly the point. Over 80% of our 2026 cohort participants have never been on a mission trip. GoLead is designed for people with zero missions background who want to explore what God might be calling them to.
What countries are involved?
The 2026 maiden cohort includes participants from India, Indonesia, and Bhutan, hosted by the Singapore team. The multi-cultural Zoom classroom connects students across these nations for peer-level learning.
What language is the program in?
The primary teaching language is English. Some local language support may be available during onsite intensives depending on the city.

For Church Leaders

How can my church partner with GoLead?
Churches can partner by endorsing participants, providing pastoral support, and hosting onsite intensives where possible. Contact us at hello@golead.com.
What is expected of a participating church?
We ask churches to provide pastoral endorsement for participants, a prayer covering for the cohort, and support for onsite intensive logistics. GoLead provides the curriculum, facilitators, and delivery infrastructure.
Can GoLead run in my city?
We're actively exploring expansion. If you're a church leader interested in bringing GoLead to your city, please reach out.

About the Program

Is GoLead affiliated with a specific denomination?
GoLead is interdenominational. We partner with churches across denominational lines and are focused on the shared mission of making disciples where Christ is least known.
What happens after the 10 months?
After completing the program, participants enter a 6-month mentoring period with monthly Zoom sessions led by experienced missionaries. Those sensing a calling can explore 1-3 month mission internships in Asia, Africa, and other regions.
Who are the teachers?
GoLead is taught by a team of international and local contributors, including lay professionals with marketplace experience and mission practitioners with insights into mission within Asian contexts.
What makes GoLead unique?
The multi-cultural Zoom learning environment. Students interact with peers from countries with many Unreached People Groups. Many participants come from communities with less than 2% Christian presence — learning about missions while engaging directly with the very communities where the Gospel is least known.
